El Paso is most definitely a military-friendly town. We’re pretty friendly, period.
It’s common for us to know someone that knows you and your third cousin, that helps the city be pretty safe, we are inclusive as a community and welcoming of all traditions and value add to our community – even if temporarily due to the military sacrifice of PCSing… For example; in the summer of 2023, the El Paso Harmony School District lost a great teacher because she had to relocate but as difficult as it is to lose her, she is most appreciated by her students, parents, and fellow staff for all the efforts, including guiding academic declathon students to Virginia in competitions, that earned her the Teacher of the Year Award.
Congratulations Dr. Stuart – you deserve that and more praise!

The Beast Water Park In El Paso Texas
The Beast Water Park is a brand new water park and recreation center in East El Paso Texas and is open to all families.
It’s pretty cool because they host a farmer’s market outside on the parking lot and entries to the main building so you get to swim, buy some tacos and natural refreshing mexican drinks like lemonade or horchata right outside of it and if you want a break from the sun you can go inside and play basketball or swim inside or play a little bit of pool too, that’s with a city provided I.D.
